Android Marshmallow 6.0 version Features:
I want to explain you a lot, but you know Android features just can't be explained in a single page. Android Marshmallow version is no different from Android Lollipop 5.1 but with some additional features.1. Google Now on Tap:
Google Now got cross application support, which help you bit like assistant. So when you don't know about some thing, you just tap on home button. Then Google Now will tell you about that.
Lets say if your friend send you a message " let's go to pitch perfect 2 movie", if you tap on home button you'll get movie details.
2.Applications Menu got changes:
Google worked on Applications Menu for easy navigation. There are minor changes in Apps Menu, The First thing you notice is that all the apps are sorted out alphabetically. Just like in below picture, it looks like Android lollipop contacts list.
Because of this you'll get only vertical scrolling, no Horizontal scrolling. Unless you use some Best android launchers.
3. One button for all sound settings:
Don't worry no extra button is added. From now onwards to change your Android phone sound settings you don't need to go to settings. Just using Volume down button for all settings.
Already with Android lollipop 5.1 update, it made some improvement for sound settings. Now it just turning out to be easy to handle sound settings.
4. Google Photos got huge changes:
In recent times Google has focused much on easy navigation and easy access. That's why Google new photo app got huge changes.
5. Full control over battery and app permissions:
Now you can allow which app can use your microphone or camera. If you don't want any app to not use your camera, you can just disable it in App permissions section.
When coming to battery Google made improvements, like Ignore Optimization option. Using which you can just turn off or on, battery saving mode for some apps.

Android lollipop 5 version is referred as most ambitious release from Google till date. As many devices are hungry to have lollipop in them, but Google released first major update to Android Lollipop 5 OS. But this update is not only for stability and performance, and also for some cool stuff which your are definitely want to know about.1.Silent mode is no longer "Silent":
Yes, Google lollipop update cause changes to Silent mode. You could no longer just get LED notifications without your phone buzzing or making some audible sound. Means When you keep your phone in silent mode, it gives you audible sounds to indicate notifications.
For all its wonderful additions and design upgrades, Google actually made Android more annoying in one specific case — it took away Silent Mode. This meant you could no longer just get LED notifications without your phone buzzing or making some audible sound.
Luckily, Google is righting the ship with Android 5.1 and bringing back the much-loved feature. Now you can ignore your friends and family in peace...
2.Smarter notifications:
Google focus more to make Notifications smarter, so user feels comfortable with them. Google made improvements to notifications with new feature.
Important Update is that "Until Next Alarm option". So, people won't disturb you when put an alarm to take rest. I this is the best update that Google made to it's Android Lollipop. Google want you to enjoy you android lollipop 5 devices while handling, but not feeling cozy.
3.No more crappy Wifi:
Google updates it's Wifi configuration, which makes don't hang around with poor or useless Wi-Fi connections. It's a little feature, but a great one.
At public places like airports, restaurants, shopping malls etc, there's usually a public Wi-Fi signal that makes connecting to the internet a nightmare. Eachtime when you got to have a signal, you end up finding out that the free Wi-Fi network doesn't work.
Android lollipop 5.0 update fixes the problem. When you connect to a Wi-Fi and if it worth no more useful, your device just remember it. Your device ignores this Wi-Fi connect, in future.
4.Safe browsing:
Android lollipop 5 .1 comes out with new App, which preinstalled "Google connect services". Which is like "Google Play services", but it gives you safe browsing experience.
In addition to making sure you never get an unwanted Wi-Fi network, Google may also be working on a VPN service so you can browse networks more securely. You can find this new app tucked away in the All Apps folder.
This Services makes a statement in Welcome board "Your data will be transmitted securely through a Google VPN, to protect your information on open Wi-Fi networks"
Considering this was discovered on a Nexus 6, supposedly the only device (at first) that will be compatible with Google's upcoming wireless service, it's possible that Google is waiting for service that to roll out first. Either way, super neat feature!
5.Protection against thefts:
Google want to make it hard for tricky thieves, to wipe off your account and use theirs. Let's see what it is about....
Google is also upping its anti-theft game, at least for Nexus 6 and 9. According to Android Police, a new anti-theft feature would make it difficult for thieves to replace your account as a primary account; add any accounts of their own; and access the phone if they wipe the phone and try to login with their own credentials.
However, right now the rollout seems pretty restricted. Hopefully, Google will grace more smartphones with this feature in the future. Or at the very least, legacy Nexus devices.
