How to set Hidden mode in hike for android

Hike messenger is popular messenger android app, to Stay connected with your friends. You can send unlimited audio, video, text messages etc,. with no restrictions at all. Hike got it's place as best messenger app among popular apps like Whatsapp, Wechat etc,. When it comes to Security of messages, Hike messenger won't compromise. Hike Messenger is one of the best security enhanced android messaging app. With the latest update Hike messenger Introduced "Hidden mode". During Hidden mode your private or personal messages will become invisible. By this feature Hike messenger allowed users to protect their data from others.

  How to setup hike Hidden mode:

Before setting up hidden mode, these are recommended and keep in mind.

1.Update your Hike app in play store.

2.Resetting hidden mode in hike will result in permanently delete invisible messages.

1.Setting up Hidden mode:

To setup hidden mode tap on "hi" button, on top left side of your android app. After tapping this you'll see Hike asking you to setup Hidden mode if you are using first time. Now Click on "Quick Setup", now set your unique pattern. This is the pattern you need to use to access hidden mode.

2. Setting Contacts to hide:

To hide your contact, long press on those contact. Then you'll see a popup with many option. On top of the list, you can see "Mark chat as hidden". Click on that and enter your Unique patten to make this contact invisible. Now again tap on "hi" to make contact invisible.

3.Accessing Hidden contacts:

To make hidden contacts visible temporarily, tap on "hi" button. It asks for Unique patten to enter and do so. You can see all your hidden contacts. If you want to make this hidden contact invisible again, tap on "hi", no need to enter Unique pattern.

4.Removing contacts from hidden mode:

To make your contact visible, long press on those contact. Then tap on "Make chat visible" option. Click on that and no need to enter your Unique patten to make this contact visible. Now again tap on "hi" to get out of hidden mode.

5.Forgot Pattern, Reset hidden mode:

If you forgot the pattern, remember this before ressetting. Your hidden contacts data is all lost.

To Reset go to Settings>Privacy>Reset hidden Mode.

For Resetting hidden mode is done in 30 minutes, this time is for you if you wish to cancel resetting. After Resetting your hike messenger is same as first time.
